The voice of the Learner at Camden Jobtrain

At Jobtrain we don't just train young people to find and hold down a job, we also encourage them to participate fully in society as young adults and indeed as voters. Jobtrain encourages 'the learner voice' through many different processes. We encourage them to air their views on their own progress with their own Keyworkers.

We also encourage them to make collective comments and positive suggestions for improving their own training and those of their fellow learners. Many changes at Jobtrain have come about through our elected Student Council including the creation of a common room, installation of vending machines and even changing the hours of training.
